What is the Customs Officers Association?

We are Customs Employees who maintain a very high involvement in the workplace and volunteer our time. We employ specialists as required eg. Employment lawyers, consultants, legal representatives etc.

Our Mission

New Zealand Customs and members of the COA are committed to promoting harmony and ensuring that consultation and co-operation are the basis for relationships between us.

The COA is committed to represent every New Zealand Customs Employee around the country from Opua to Invercargill including those stationed overseas. The shape and identity of the New Zealand Customs Service today is radically different from those of past years.
